Dramatis personae, typed for the ticket Shiny Hunters / UNC6240. Not wizards! Shiny Hunters are known to me, the God of all hacks. At best, they are a data-extortion shop with a leak site, a grievance, and a working knowledge of which Fortune-and-government products still ship an unauthenticated attack surface if you leave the “Environment Management Hub” on the internet like a decorative gourd. FBI forgot the golden rule during their marriage to Oracle; you”HAVE TO RETIRE OLD SYSTEMS,” and part with traditional cybersecurity failure—a software zero-day—not a failure of quantum-resistant cryptography, and I underscore that even the most advanced cryptographic algorithms cannot protect a system if the underlying software was engineered by OBSTACLE, I mean ORACLE maroons and is vulnerable to exploitation. If you are a binary fide STATE AGENCY (HELLO YOU DUMB BITCHES!) You got to make state-driven investments in post-quantum and quantum technologies and stead of ORACLE CRAP, laser-focus on building sovereign, quantum-resistant infrastructure to protect data for the long term, particularly in sensitive sectors like finance, energy, and of course, your g-fag government. Your efforts efforts aim needs to be to secure the cryptographic foundation itself, a layer that the Oracle PeopleSoft breach actually — according to my LASER PRECISE analysis, bypassed entirely!

Yes… They spent May and June while g-fag agents were stalking me and American stalker bastards planning my mother’s homicide, this data chop shop Shiny Hunters were turning PeopleSoft instances into export jobs. Universities first, because universities secure HR the way a dorm secures a mini-fridge. Like my first year of college during which I dropped out because I was lecturing Professors..

Then they moved on to the rest of the food chain. Then, they say, the Bureau’s recruiting plane. They want a May public service announcement retracted. Imagine that, a cocksucker hacker dictating to elite g-men what they shall and shall not do… They say this is not financially motivated, which is the standard lie you tell when the product is reputation plus a terabyte…. It is financially motivated, sort of like synthetic Heroin was in California in early 80’s, straight from China to USA… What g-fags did not know that this 100% puro production was being gifted to them from none other but communist government of China to DESTABILIZE social fabric of USA, and it worked. It lit an addiction fuse that USA has been on for decades long before fentanyl.. You see the dots I just revealed to you amigo? But that’s not a topic of my nano post so back to the FBI… Yes, the FBI who stead of engineering this own Quantum Resistant Systems, chose Silicon Valley outdated crap by OBSTACLE, I mean ORACLE.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Edgar Hoover Gay Club for g-men America's most self-regarding ticketing queue. Special agents, intel analysts, professional staff, you know that whole khaki-and-polyester priesthood that lectures corporate America about “cyber hygiene” while their own applicant portal is a load balancer in front of a résumé-shaped honeypot. They will prosecute your ransomware note with a press conference…. They will not appear to have treated “home address plus urine panel plus spouse SSN” as a crown-jewel store. That is the joke folks…. The joke is wearing a badge actually, a federal badge…. Who guards their personnel data, Oracle? Hell nope, that’s Obstacle! (formerly Oracle PeopleSoft). The enterprise HRIS that time forgot and procurement cannot quit. PeopleTools 8.61 / 8.62. Recruiting…... Payroll-adjacent identity…… Dependents…… Medical clearances….. The software equivalent of a suburban kitchen where every family secret is in the same junk drawer as the school permission slip… When Google’s G-fag ass kidding people say “unauthenticated RCE in Updates Environment Management,” what they mean in adult language is: a management plane that should never have been a network neighbor of a public apply-now button. Obstacle! does not fail loudly. It fails like a sitcom dad: confident, beige, and sitting on the classified-adjacent family photos.

AWS GovCloud, as named by the crew….

Not a villain!

A region with extra paperwork. If your HR data land there and your recruiting site can stroll over because identity, middleware, or “we reused the same integration user,” that is not cloud magic. That is a missing trust boundary with a FedRAMP sticker on it.
What the sample actually is, if you stop doing press-release math
Reporters did not “see the FBI.” They saw rows. About five thousand in the first souvenir spreadsheet, with enough collisions against public traces and older breach corpora that “entirely fake” is no longer a serious position. Reuters found assignment text that is not a targeting package and is still a highlighter for anyone who wants to know which household belongs to the China problem set. The BBC got the medical layer: fitness-for-work exams, labs, notes. The headcount inflation from “the usual 38k onboard” to “maybe 60k current-plus-former” is the crew talking. Believe the sample. Discount the press release from the people holding the hard drives. Discount the Bureau’s novel, too.
In software-engineering terms, the exposed object is not “the FBI.” The exposed object is a denormalized personnel graph:

_node: human

_edges: spouse, sibling, emergency contact

_properties: SSN, geo, tel, DOB, role, office, sometimes unit

_optional blob: clinical PDF

That graph is the only thing most criminal and intelligence consumers actually want. You do not need the case file to ruin a case officer’s week. You need the graph plus one embarrassing lab line. American G-fag Bureau spent decades telling the country that “PII” is a compliance word. PII is a targeting package with worse column names….

The architecture of a national pratfall!

Here is their g-fag system design, inferred from what everyone has already said out loud, without turning this into a lab manual — because the interesting part is not a payload. The interesting part is that an elite g-fag law enforcement agency basically wired the front door to the family album….

Internet-facing recruiting application? Purpose; convert civilians into packets. Requires: legal name, address, phone, SSN, work history, references, the kind of medical and character inventory a background investigation eats. This thing must be on the public internet. That is not optional. What is optional is pretending it is “just a website.”

PeopleSoft as the system of record. Obstacle! is where applicant rows grow up to become employee rows. If you do not fork those universes — separate tenancy, separate identity provider, separate object storage, separate admin plane — then “we only lost the jobs site” is a bedtime story for SES. A recruiting compromise that can see MedLink-shaped objects is not lateral movement in the Hollywood sense. It is a schema that was never split.

Management-plane on the same planet as the sign-on page. The June advisory was not a vibe. CVE-2026-35273 was scored 9.8 and described as unauthenticated compromise of PeopleTools over HTTP, sitting in the Environment Management Hub. Mandiant watched ShinyHunters live in that class of bug from late May into June, mostly education, then a broader menu. In September they said the crew came back for organizations that put a WAF rule on the path and skipped the actual patch — security theater with a regex. That is the state of the art in American enterprise defense: we blocked the string and left the servlet.

Their FBI-specific “new zero-day” claim. The crew says they found another one Monday night and used it immediately. They have an incentive to say “zero-day” forever; it keeps the inventory unburned and the other Obstacle! customers sweating. Oracle has an incentive to say nothing until Legal finishes the haiku. The Bureau has an incentive to say “third party or enterprise, undetermined,” which is consultant for “we do not know which contractor to yell at on the bridge.” A serious reader holds all three incentives in one hand and the authenticated sample rows in the other.

GovCloud as the junk drawer in a nicer neighborhood. If personnel objects live in a government cloud account and the recruiting stack can reach them with a service principal that was minted in 2019 and never rotated because “it’s in the VPC,” congratulations. You reinvented the shared spreadsheet. You just billed it as authority to operate.

None of this requires genius. It requires an org that thinks “we are the FBI” is a control. It is not a control. It is a brand.
A brief glossary for the people who still think “cyber” is a vibe;

• Unauthenticated RCE, as a class: the application does something powerful for a stranger. You should not need a badge to be dangerous. Obstacle! has already had one of these on the calendar this year. Whether the Bureau box was that CVE, a cousin, or a misconfig wearing a zero-day costume is a forensics problem. The class is the indictment….

• Trust boundary: the imaginary line between “random applicant” and “agent household plus hematology.” If your ERD does not have that line as a hard isolation domain, you do not have security. You have a wiki….

• Blast radius: everything the stolen credential or foothold can read. In a grown-up design, compromising apply.fbijobs.gov gets you résumés and a pager. In this design, the claim is terabytes and urine. That is not an APT masterpiece. That is blast radius as a lifestyle.

• WAF-as-patch: putting a string match in front of a vulnerable route and declaring the sprint closed. Mandiant’s September note is the after-action for that religion. The packet can change its clothes. The unpatched component cannot.

• Third-party provider: the adult in the room you hired so that when the graph leaks you can say the point of breach is undetermined. This is not delegation. This is emotional offshoring.

• PII: a word compliance uses so they do not have to say “dox folder.”

• Zero Trust: a slide. If your recruiting IdP, your HR admin plane, and your medical store share implicit trust, you are running Maximum Trust with extra syllables.

Mocking the product, which is the point
Let us speak plainly about the clowns, since that was the assignment and they earned it.

These are the people who will indict a teenager for a scanning box and then store the home addresses of the China squad behind a career-site CMS. These are the people who hold press availabilities about “nation-state activity” while their own fitness-for-duty PDFs are being used as authenticity tokens on a leak site. These are the people whose professional identity is I am the adult in the room, and whose actual architecture is please upload your SSN to the same family of software that just got mass-exploited across universities, hospitals, and whoever else left PeopleTools on a public VIP!

The special-agent self-myth is a G-man in a doorway, jaw like a federal monument, protecting the republic from men in basements. The engineering reality, if even half the claim holds, is a G-man whose basement is now a column. Badge number, wife’s SSN, the note about blood in the urine. That is not a warrior. That is a row. The row does not care about your raid jacket. The row will be joined against last year’s mega-breach and next week’s SIM swap.

And the support staff — the analysts, the linguists, the surveillance people, the professional employees who actually make a squad run — they get the same graph and none of the movie posters. They were never going to be on a recruiting billboard. They are in the export anyway. That is how denormalized HR works. Obstacle! does not respect your internal caste system. It respects EMPLID.
There is a particular American comedy in which the agency that writes the advisory about ShinyHunters becomes the customer success story. In May, the Bureau told corporate victims the crew exaggerates and you should not pay. In September, the crew addressed the Director by name and hung a seized banner on the jobs page. That is not “hacking the Pentagon.” That is getting ratioed by your own PSA. If you publish “they overclaim” as guidance and then your applicant portal becomes their showroom, you did not issue guidance. You issued a dare with letterhead.

Do not confuse this with respect for the crew. Extortion shops are not folk heroes. They steal family data and sell fear. They also did not need to be folk heroes. They needed a management endpoint and an institution that uses “we are law enforcement” as an exemption from basic tenancy design. The skill on display is not dark magic. It is literacy plus a victim that still thinks PeopleSoft is a personality.
Oracle’s role in the joke is the longest-running laugh track in enterprise IT. Obstacle! will sell you a suite that can run a university, a car company, and a federal recruiting pipeline. It will also sell you the privilege of discovering, every few seasons, that some hub meant for environment sync should not have been a peer of the public internet. The patch comes out-of-band. The advisory is grave. The installed base is still running the episode where Greg Brady administers production. Procurement will renew because migration is a career-risk and the incumbent has already ingested the dependents table. This is how you get a 9.8 and a government customer in the same year and still call it a platform.
Why the medical files are the actual punchline
Addresses are bad. SSNs are worse. The clinical layer is the part that turns a leak into a handle.
A fitness-for-duty exam exists because the Bureau needs to know whether the human can run, shoot, and not collapse in a stairwell. That is a reasonable HR requirement. Storing it in a blast radius that includes a public recruiting stack is not a reasonable HR requirement. It is a data-classification failure so complete it circles back to farce. You cannot lecture the country about “sensitive investigative techniques” while the sensitive technique in play is we put the urine panel next to the “Apply Now” button in the same logical kingdom.
Coercion does not need a novel. Coercion needs one true sentence the target did not expect you to know. “We have your last physical” is that sentence. Foreign services will not need a budget meeting. Criminal groups will not need a developer. They need the graph. The Bureau collected the graph because that is what background investigations are. Then it left the graph where a recruiting vulnerability could see it, if the claim is right, because that is what American enterprise integration is: everything talks to everything, and the slide says API-led.
Agents quoted in the British press did the one honest thing in this saga. They sounded afraid and angry. Fear is the correct parse. Anger is the correct parse. The correct engineering parse is: your employer did not think your household was a production dependency.
What “almost ALL FBI Agents” means when you stop shouting
It is a marketing string. It may even be directionally true. It is not a counted DISTINCT on EMPLID. The verified object is “enough rows that journalists could match humans, including senior titles, and enough medical samples that a public-service broadcaster was willing to describe lab work.” That is already a personnel-security incident. Whether the full two-to-three-terabyte animal is one archive, several systems concatenated, or a pile with duplicates and applicant sludge is a question for people with logs. The threat model does not need the poetic maximum. Five thousand good rows of agent households is already a targeting deck. Unit labels on top of that is a CI problem. Medical on top of that is a blackmail problem. Applicants on top of that is a pipeline problem: you just doxxed people who wanted to join you. Some of them still might. That is not bravery. That is a labor market.
The only adult recommendations, none of which require a raid jacket
If you run Obstacle! and you are reading this for the lulz, the lulz are not the patch. Apply the June alert. Do not confuse a WAF rule with a vendor fix. Take the management hub off the public VIP. Split applicant tenancy from employee tenancy until they cannot share an admin session, an object-store prefix, or a service account that was created because a contractor needed “temporary” access in a fiscal year that is now archaeology. Encrypt the medical blobs under a key the recruiting app cannot even name. Rotate every integration user as if it already leaked, because the prior campaign says the scanning started before your change-advisory board found a slot.
If you are an agent or an analyst in the sample: assume the graph is out. Assume the physical is out if you ever sat for a fitness packet that lived in the same kingdom. Hardening your personal life is now a work assignment the Bureau handed you by failing a schema review. That is grotesque. It is also the state.
If you are the Bureau: stop writing “aggressively investigating” like it is a unique index. Investigations do not un-join a spouse SSN from a field office. The product defect is architectural. The cultural defect is the belief that the seal on the letterhead is a control plane……

Closing the ticket
American republic is not going to fall because ShinyHunters can spell PeopleSoft. The republic is going to look like a sitcom because the institution that sells itself as the last serious adult in American life stored the last serious adults as rows in Obstacle! and then acted surprised when a crew that already looted the same product family showed up at the career site.
They wanted a retraction of a PSA. What they demonstrated, if the samples keep matching, is more embarrassing than a retracted PDF. They demonstrated that the G-man’s household was one unauthenticated management plane away from becoming open data, and that the software family responsible has the operational maturity of a Brady Bunch reunion special: everybody still lives in the same house, the bathroom door does not lock, and the dad keeps saying he has a very important job.
Rename it in the CMDB.

Not Oracle…..

Not PeopleSoft…..

Obstacle!

Then put a real trust boundary in front of the urine panel, like a civilization….

No?

With every third party Vendor, your data get an attack surface Gender that can end up in a Hack blender so an attacker can bypass your authentication completely and go fuh the stored data Aorta, and you will bleed loco afterwards… Hey, did you know that Tokens and $sessions are irrelevant if your third party vendor Oracle’s asshole wide open fuh’ a cyberfuck?

I guess you do know that now..,,

Tip of the day kids?

If your data access is granted to third party always assume that Third Party is YOU!

No?

What if you do?

I wouldn’t be caught FREAQIN dead, with any systems I engineer, allowing all records to be reachable from one single portal because that grants malicious actors “lateral movement” across systems I engineered from scratch! Defense in depth means compartmentalizing state so one breach doesn't cascade and you end up World’s Data Clown fuh’ a decade!

And this one right when your nemesis of China is getting a tour, so he could have a comedic tour of your inability to keep your classified datasets CLASSIFIED…

Emperor got a helluvuh gift and a free laugh and even when he departs, ENTIRE CHINESE DELEGATION will be LFAO all the way back to Bejing while your server PING, again and again!

Satire aside, would I ever advise FBI?

I don’t G-fag TANGO but strictly verbiage D-Jango, but will reveal it, sure why not..

Worth a reveal that I Graduated to engineering my own operating systems so I am biased 100% and only favor my own systems!

That revealed;

What the FBI Should Do (Structural Fixes)….

Do NOT REVEAL THIS, It’s Top Bottom Secret!

Immediate (30–90 days):

Remove PeopleSoft from the public internet entirely. If a recruitment portal must be public, it should be a static form that writes to a queue—not a direct connection to the ERP backend.

Assume the zero-day is real and hunt for lateral movement…. Look for unusual POST activity in your WebLogic logs, unauthorized files in your PSEMHUB directories, and outbound traffic on port 445 — to be exact…

Rotate every secret reachable from PeopleSoft servers and have pre-approved authority to isolate systems fast!

Structural (6–18 months):

Hard segmentation between DMZ and core. Your G-fag recruitment portal should have no network route to your G-cunt GovCloud internal IP ranges. Even with RCE, the attacker is trapped….

Zero-trust identity for cloud workloads. No long-lived IAM credentials inherited from compromised app servers. Each service gets short-lived, scoped tokens that cannot access IAM or metadata endpoints….

Self-hosted verification layer. Insert a single-purpose validation microservice between PeopleSoft and sensitive data stores. It uses independent mTLS/SPIFFE identity—not PeopleSoft's auth logic—to decide whether a request is legitimate. A compromised PeopleSoft process cannot forge the verification layer's trust.

The "No Third Party" Question!

Completely third-party-free g-fag, I mean — government IT is neither feasible nor desirable cause g-fags can’t handlerteal IT workload… The FBI g-fags cannot fabricate CPU’s, He’ll would freeze ovuh’ if they wrote an OS, or manufacture their own network gear by forming a g-fag manufacture corp so classified even Pope wouldn’t know cause God wouldn’t tell him... But it can reduce trust in third parties:

Run third-party software in constrained containers with no egress. A PeopleSoft RCE becomes a dead-end…

Build your own access proxy. Every query to PII/PHI databases goes through an FBI-built gatekeeper that enforces attribute-based access control and query signing. Even a compromised PeopleSoft cannot query the database directly…

Assume every third-party component will eventually be compromised! Assume it! You MUST! Becayse… if… The breach happened because a failed assumption—that the recruitment portal couldn't reach the crown jewels—was architectural, not because Oracle was "insecure."

So because FBI has third party dependency due to insufficient IQ to form their own data engineering division WITHIN THE FBI which reports DIRECTLY to their own Director, FBI's core mistake was not using third-party software, but it was architecting a system where a third-party failure cascaded into the core.

Segmentation, is their FREE lesson….

How I differ?

I would have personally told Larry Elison to go BANANA SCREW HIMSELF on his Hawaiian monkey island and MOVED absolutely all data storage into fuckin basement of FBI HQ’s and created a air gapped system while I told all Capitol Hill Congressmen to kiss my ass if they don’t like it!

Are air gapped systems bulletproof?

Their only weakness is enemy compromised FBI personnel… SO, you have to engineer a net, a wide net to catch them red handed second they are compromised by Russians, Chinese, or whoever got them on payROLL…

You wannuh be a g-man, you gottuh “THINK” like one…
