I will reveal that when I started editing video and documentaries on non linear systems like AVID, I couldn’t afford it but that wasn’t an issue to me cause I’m the God of all hacking so I do not believe there is software in existence I could not crack under 90 seconds but, I choose to pay for it all so.. While you gottuh start somewhere even if you are flat broke overpriced software can be had for use and of course necessity is the mother of all inventions and worth a mention that if I need any software I actually prefer to engineer it from scratch cause I’m super picky and extremely demanding and nobody can really please me with their finished work because I am a hyper competitive perfectionist but for ya’ll you can do all this shit easily on Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, AVID…
