Worth a mention that in order for me to correctly error free address U.S. President Donald Trump’s claims that white South African farmers are being targeted for land-related killings, I have done a quicky comparative analysis of South African crime data, land reform policies, and socio-political context which was essential for me to be able to GATHER a FACTUAL ERROR-FREE evidence-based breakdown so I will lead you through this analysis of
Mine starting with general crime Ssatistics in South Africa which has one of the world’s highest murder rates, driven by systemic inequality, poverty, and organized crime. So what are their total murders for last two year period data available for which is 2022/2023? 27,494 murders according to their law enforcement called SAPS Report (https://www.saps.gov.za)), with the majority occurring in urban townships and informal settlements. What about demographics of victims? Roughly 85% of murder victims are Black South Africans, who make up 81% of the population. White South Africans (7.3% of the population) account for about 3% of murder victims so we know right off the bat that Trump is absolutely full of shit and keep scrolling cause I will reveal to you his ulterior motives, a major one but there are more.. Let’s glance at his issue which is farm murders which by the way is ideal for any would be killers who in South Africa usually operate in a team of at least two to three because victims are isolated hence easy to murder… In 2022/2023, 50 farm murders were reported (all races). White farmers constitute a small fraction of total murder victims, despite disproportionate media attention generated by Trump and his White South African lapdog Elon Musk… Now that we know that, let’s dig deeper for greater insight… what about White Farmers and Farm Attacks in particular?
