Democrats need a candidate who can win the Research Triangle (Raleigh-Durham) by historic margins while neutralizing the Charlotte suburbs…. The winning coalition is Black voters (33% of the electorate) plus college-educated white women, dig?The national party must fund an unprecedented "crossover" operation! Tillis is a creature of the establishment; I would advise Democrats to paint him as a D.C. insider who abandoned the state during Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. If the turnout in Mecklenburg and Wake counties hits presidential-year levels, this flips! I guarantee it!
